PSD Vehicle Rental Supports Steve Prescott Foundation Celeb Bowls in St Helens

PSD Vehicle Rental was delighted to play a part in another fantastic community event on Saturday 8 August, as the Steve Prescott Foundation Celeb Bowls returned to St Helens.

Held at the Unison/NALGO Sports Bar, the PSD Vehicle Rental SPF Celeb Bowls, in association with Barton’s Pickles and Johnny Vegas, brought together hundreds of people from across St Helens and the wider North West for a day of bowls, entertainment and fundraising.

For our team at PSD Vehicle Rental, supporting the Steve Prescott Foundation means a great deal.

PSD has been part of the St Helens community for many years, providing vehicle rental and fleet solutions to local businesses, organisations and individuals. We also believe strongly in supporting the communities that have supported our business over the years.

Supporting the Steve Prescott Foundation in St Helens

The Steve Prescott Foundation continues the legacy of Steve Prescott MBE through fundraising, community events and support for charitable causes.

The Foundation has become an important part of the St Helens community, bringing together businesses, sporting personalities, volunteers and local residents to raise money and awareness for people who need support.

Saturday’s Celeb Bowls event was another brilliant example of that community spirit.

Hundreds of people attended throughout the day, creating a fantastic atmosphere both on and off the green.

PSD Takes to the Green

PSD Vehicle Rental was well represented during the competition, with Danny putting in a brilliant performance and reaching the semi-finals.

There was plenty more PSD involvement throughout the day too.

Our own Clint Harrison and Edward Harrison took part in a special exhibition match alongside Johnny Vegas and Sir Kevin Sinfield, creating one of the standout moments of the event.

It was great to see members of the PSD team getting involved personally and supporting an event that means so much to people across St Helens.

After a competitive day of bowls, Tommy Martyn and Paul Kelly eventually came away with the win.

However, the real success of the event was seeing so many people come together to support the Steve Prescott Foundation.

PSD Vehicle Rental has grown significantly across St Helens, Warrington and the wider North West, but maintaining strong links with our local communities remains important to us.

We work with businesses of all sizes, providing short term vehicle hire, flexible rental and longer term fleet solutions.

Being a local business also means getting involved outside the day-to-day running of our vehicle rental fleet.
