PSD Vehicle Rental Supports Standing Tall Foundation Charity Golf Day

At PSD Vehicle Rental, supporting our local community is just as important as supporting our customers. Last Friday, our team had the pleasure of taking part in the Standing Tall Foundation Charity Golf Day at Houghwood Golf Club, joining businesses from across the region to raise vital funds for an organisation making a real difference.

The day brought together local companies for a friendly competition, plenty of networking and, most importantly, fundraising for a cause that continues to have a positive impact across our communities. There were some impressive shots, a few we’d rather not talk about, plenty of laughs and a great atmosphere throughout the day.

Supporting the Standing Tall Foundation

The Standing Tall Foundation is a North West charity dedicated to helping people facing hardship. Through a wide range of community initiatives, the organisation supports individuals and families experiencing food poverty, poor mental wellbeing, financial difficulties and social isolation.

Their work reaches people of all ages, providing practical support, opportunities and hope when it is needed most. Events such as the annual charity golf day play an important role in helping the foundation continue delivering these vital services.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing so many local businesses come together for a shared purpose. While there was plenty of friendly competition on the course, the focus remained firmly on raising money and awareness for an outstanding local charity.

Events like this demonstrate the strength of our local business community and what can be achieved when organisations work together to support causes that matter.
