We are excited to announce a major step forward in our longstanding partnership with Lanes Group (www.lanesgroup.com). This new agreement has seen PSD Vehicle Rental provide a specialised fleet of vehicles to support their extensive infrastructure and utility services across the UK, as part of their newly awarded contract with Yorkshire Water.

This contract will enable Lanes Group to deliver a range of essential services, from maintaining water systems to implementing vital infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet growing demand while adhering to sustainability and operational efficiency goals. As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting their work, PSD Vehicle Rental supplied a fleet of purpose-built vehicles that are tailored to meet the demands of these critical services.

The newly supplied fleet of over 70 vehicles includes:

Mercedes Sprinter 317 PRO L2H2 Vans, designed for the demands of infrastructure maintenance, featuring:

3000Kw inverter for enhanced operational efficiency
Prismatic Chapter 8 livery with Highway Maintenance signage
Customised racking systems for equipment and tool storage
Essential safety features including beacons and towbars

Double Cab Ford Transit 350 Leader Tippers, specifically adapted for utility work, equipped with:

High-performance 3000Kw inverters
Prismatic Chapter 8 livery with Highway Maintenance signage
Ball & pin towbars for versatile towing capability

These vehicles will play a crucial role in supporting Lanes Group’s commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable services across the UK’s infrastructure network. I arrived at their address totally unprepared and not very optimistic … More 15 mins before closing. I was greeted by a young gentleman called Tom who went above and beyond to help me in the most professional manner. I’m a complete technophobe who doesn’t know how to use banking apps, utilities apps or even send an email. Tom talked me through each and every app and step of the way with the patients of a saint helping me to make sure I had all the information he needed. He then grabbed keys to a fantastic 2024 Ford transit van, showed me round, took some signatures and I was on my way. He didn’t once look at his watch.
