PSD Vehicle Rental Backs Standing Tall Foundation With New Support Vehicle
We are pleased to share news of a new local partnership between PSD Vehicle Rental and the Standing Tall Foundation, supporting vital community and veterans’ work across the borough.
We have provided the Foundation with a Ford Ranger to support day to day operations. The vehicle will be used for events and for transporting veterans and other community groups to activities and projects throughout the year.
The Standing Tall Foundation supports veterans and local community groups through practical help, wellbeing activities, and social connection. The Foundation works closely with people across the borough to reduce isolation, improve confidence, and create opportunities that make a real difference to everyday life.
The Standing Tall Foundation is co founded by John Tabern, who also leads the heritage project Cannington Shaw. The project has brought new life to the historic The No. 7 Bottle Shop in St Helens, transforming it into a growing community hub. The Standing Tall Foundation logo now features on the vehicle as part of the partnership.
Clint Harrison, Chairman of PSD had this to say:
I have long admired the work the Standing Tall Foundation does within the local community. Being able to support a charity that gives so much time and energy to veterans and local people really matters to us. Unless you spend time with Andy Reid and John, you do not fully see the commitment it takes to run a charity delivering this level of support. The dedication from the team is clear.
John Tabern added:
Massive thanks to Clint and everyone at PSD for their support. The vehicle will make a real difference to how we deliver our work, and we are extremely grateful.
If you spot the vehicle on the road, give it a beep.
