Personnel Announcement
The PSD Group, a leading vehicle rental and leasing company based in the North West, has further strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Mr Kane Bowden as Operations Director.
Kane has dedicated his entire career to the vehicle rental industry. He began at the reception desk at Burnt Tree Vehicle Rental in South Wales, quickly progressing through the ranks and eventually being promoted to General Manager for Shropshire and later Birmingham. Under his leadership, the Birmingham location grew to become one of the largest in Burnt Tree’s national network.
Kane continued to excel, becoming Area Rental Manager when Enterprise acquired Burnt Tree. He then took on the responsibility of leading a team of over 100 in the central maintenance control function of the business, a role made particularly challenging during COVID with the transition to remote working. Following this, Kane joined HGV specialist Prohire Group as a National Accounts Manager.
Commenting on the appointment, Clint Harrison, Managing Director at The PSD Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kane to the team. His wealth of experience in the vehicle rental industry, combined with his proven ability to drive growth and improve operational performance, makes him the perfect fit for this role. Kane has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and an unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, qualities that align perfectly with our values at PSD. We are confident that Kane will be instrumental in helping PSD become the North West’s leading vehicle rental company. His track record of success speaks for itself.”
Kane Bowden added: “I am excited to be joining The PSD Group at such a pivotal time. The opportunity to return to light commercial vehicle rental operations and contribute to PSD’s growth is something I’m really looking forward to. I’ve always been passionate about building strong teams and delivering outstanding service, and I see a lot of potential to expand the business.”
