A milestone moment for Utility Solutions Provider as their first electric van hits the road

We’ve handed over a new Ford E Transit Custom to Utility Solutions Provider Ltd, marking their move into electric. The van is ready for work from day one with Chapter 8 chevrons, a towbar, and an LED beacon. It has been supplied through our Fix2GO product.

The van offers a realistic range of about 170 miles on a full charge. Rapid charging takes it from 0 to 80 percent in roughly 34 minutes. It also has a 1,000 kg towing capacity, which is ideal for everyday site work and heavier kit.

USP deliver gas, water, electricity, district heating and EV charging infrastructure across the UK. Moving part of their fleet to electric supports the sustainable projects they are already rolling out nationwide. Recent work includes full EV charger installations for clients in Warrington and Derby, covering everything from grid connection to the final charging point.
